After 3 airports and seeing the day go by from a small window, watching the clouds pass by, I finally landed in Charleston! I waited some more inside the airport to wait for a friend so we could ride together to the hotel where everyone was waiting. My roomies where in their pjs already, I got in so late, and the last of us was still trying to get there after many delayed flights. Sigh… Sounds like a roller coaster, but that’s how the traveling life goes 😉
This is the second year my wonderful friends and I take a little retreat to see each other, talk shop, see fabulous cities and eat and drink some yummy treats!
Warm but not to hot, bright blue skies with not one cloud in sight… Just look at this city! There was so much to see, so much textures and history.
(That dog i front of the red door! He looks out of a postcard!!) The company is the best thing about these trips we take, getting to sit and chat, laugh, cry and plan for the future, while waking up and experiencing different cities… It’s an amazing opportunity! We even had a little shoot of our own; it’s so fun to see everyone’s different styles of shooting and editing! I might do a little series to show off my gorgeous friends 🙂 In the meanwhile you can actually see some of them in our Pro Headshots gallery section!
Like I said, the food and drinks were amazing! My friends always pick the best choices! I am so easy going, I just follow along and I end up enjoying everything.
Around the corner, a taste of Charleston
Old yellow buildings, old fountains, new construction sites… There was a lot happening around our hotel! Literally around the corner! It was so much fun to walk and see such different settings from what I’m used to in San Diego. Of course I missed having Luis around, since we travel together so much I am used to sharing all this with him, but I am extremely happy that I get the opportunity to travel with my wonderful friends as well.
Have you visited Charleston before? Did you like it?
